Husk Power operates more than 400 solar minigrids across rural Nigeria and India as of January 2025, having doubled its fleet in the previous twelve months. Together they serve about 1.5 million people and 30,000 small businesses.
Husk builds community-scale solar minigrids in towns the national grid never reached, replacing diesel generators with metered, pay-as-you-go clean power.
It passed the 400-minigrid mark by adding 200 new communities in a single year - a doubling of the fleet - across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
