Invisible Giant

The Latin American super-app that carries a continent's errands and money

Nine countries. One app for almost everything.

In the Global South, the super-app is not a convenience. It is the rail the whole daily economy runs on.

One app brings the groceries, pays the bill, and moves the money.

Bogota, 2015. Rappi, Latin America's home-grown super-app, started with a single errand and kept adding whatever the customer already needed. It now runs across nine countries and more than 350 cities, carrying over 250 million orders a year, with payments and a card underneath that became a first financial account for people the branch never reached.

The decision that mattered: build outward from the errand people already trusted you with.
