Invisible Giant

The digital rail that matches cargo to trucks across a continent

The empty truck, finally matched to the load.

In the Global South, the logistics rail is not built on top of the highways. It is the intelligence that makes the highways finally worth something.

Half of Africa's freight used to travel one way, then drive home empty - and the waste was the whole market.

Lori Systems and Kobo360 built the digital rail that matches cargo to trucks across the continent. Lori now coordinates more than 20,000 trucks across 12 countries, while Kobo360, founded in Lagos in 2017, said it aggregated over 50,000 trucks across seven countries at its peak, proving the model.

The decision that mattered: sell the empty return trip, do not buy the fleet.
