Dubai, 2012. Mudassir Sheikha and Magnus Olsson built Careem for a region with cash customers, Arabic speakers, and street addresses that did not exist on any map - and solved for exactly that. More than a million captains have earned across the Middle East and Pakistan, and payments and delivery grew on the rails the rides laid.
